Conscious Purpose is founded by Michael Karbouris (LinkedIn, X profile).
For the past 20 years, I’ve been fortunate to build a career in business (professional qualifications). Alongside this, I've spent the last decade exploring the depths of the Self. This journey has been driven by an unending enthusiasm for understanding our true nature and a desire to integrate these realizations, bridging the gap between daily life, wisdom, and spirituality.
My exploration has centered on:
- Self-inquiry
- Inner peace
- Resilience
- Purpose
- The nature of reality
- The nature of the mind
- Conscious living
- Awakening
Over the years, I've delved into a variety of scientific, philosophical and religious traditions—physicalism, cognitive science, idealism, stoicism, Advaita Vedanta and non-dualism, Zen and Theravada Buddhism, Vipassana, mysticism, conventional religion—and it is abundantly clear to me that truth transcends any single path.
Ultimately, living from a place of love requires no specific tradition or framework.
Throughout my experience in the world of business, I’ve become aware of the disconnect between the true nature of reality and the typical mindset of leaders. This gap is not merely about the divide between the concepts of separate self and unity consciousness; it’s a broader divide between mind-centered and heart-centered approaches to leadership and decision-making.
I've dedicated much of this year to refining a decade's worth of notes from my personal explorations. The result is a unique curriculum on Conscious Purpose, synthesizing scientific, spiritual, and practical knowledge into an accessible format.
We find ourselves at a pivotal point in history: technology has distanced many of us from our natural human connection - our soul, if you will. Artificial Intelligence is accelerating this disruption and will likely lead many to question their purpose in the years to come.
My goal is to share the profound truths that have brought deep purpose to my own life, presenting them in a way that is both practical and inspiring. The mission is simple yet profound: to motivate current and aspiring leaders to look inward and align with their true purpose.
My hope is to witness a growing number of leaders during my lifetime who enact positive, top-down change in the world—one leader at a time.
